The play MITI MITI is the outcome of the workshop held by director Sean Buhagiar of Teatru Malta (the Maltese national theatre company) within ‘Casa Degli Artisti’ training course of Fondazione Teatro Due.

MITI MITI is an interactive theatre experience devised by Sean Buhagiar and Saviour Pirotta, which explores Mediterranean mythology through an innovative approach to stage narration. The workshop integrated choreography and movement under the guidance of Jacob Piccinino, along with in-depth musical work with Albert Garzia. The production makes use of choral storytelling techniques, physical comedy, the Lecoq method, ensemble work and movement research, creating a dynamic and immersive theatrical language.

Through an interactive structure, the audience is asked to choose which myths to explore, becoming an active part of the story. MITI MITI is thus configured as a performative experience for children and families, combining play, adventure and discovery in a context of learning and wonder.
