Training and attention to the transmission of knowledge have always been a fundamental part of the identity of Fondazione Teatro Due in Parma.
In front of the multifaceted and variegated Italian theatrical panorama, there remains an urgent conviction of the need for cultural institutions to be able to provide artists with complex tools to be used in their own development; complexity is never intended as a synonym for specialisation or pure in-depth study, but rather an arena in which to move, a condition, to be accepted first and assumed later, in order to be able to confront the great ethical and social questions of contemporaneity.
The 7th edition of the higher education course for theatrical professionals CASA DEGLI ARTISTI is about to begin: the students who have passed the selections (13 among actresses, actors, dramaturgy and direction assistants) will arrive at Teatro Due on 14th October to begin their training course. As always, the across-the-board and multidisciplinary proposal will be inserted within the intense theatrical activity of Fondazione Teatro Due so as to integrate theoretical and practical training with moments of comparison with the Italian contemporary scene and with international artists.
